About the role
WHAT YOU NEED
- An accounting certificate or diploma. A degree in accounting, finance or similar is an advantage.
- Willing to study, or already studying, a professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence with Excel.
- Relevant experience is an advantage, not a requirement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Help plan and carry out audits under supervision, and take on small audits as you grow.
- Examine and verify clients’ financial statements and records, and document what you find.
- Prepare simpler financial statements and review client-prepared ones.
- Record transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances, and submit VAT and other statutory returns.
- Answer client questions about the audit clearly and on time.
